Graphic Designer
Fuse specialises in Search Engine Optimisation of Legal, Insurance, Retail and Service industry websites. Fuse understands what it takes to get websites to perform in the search engines and our reputation is winning us new exciting contracts with a wide range of customers. As part of our joined-up approach we also offer web-design, eCommerce and online branding solution to our clients, so as well as optimising websites to perform in the organic or natural search listings we also design and build sites from scratch. These new contracts with commercial clients mean that we are now expanding our team to cope with current and forecast demand for our services.
Fuse are looking for an outstanding and experienced web Graphic Designer to join our digital marketing team. You should have between 2 and 3 years commercial experience and be able to demonstrate a great portfolio of your gob-smackingly inspiring work showing that you have a real passion for web-design and creative graphics.
You will be allowed to let your creative juices flow within this role working on client websites across a diverse range of industries and taking a leading creative role within our team. Most of your time will be spent working on re-engineering existing websites with new fresh concepts and also building new sites from the ground-up adopting our unique methodology in SEO friendly website architecture.
The successful candidate will be dynamic and positive with a flexible 'can do' attitude. ‘Attention to detail’ will be your middle name, you will not be afraid to test new ideas and techniques and above all you will be a superb graphic designer with bags of ability and enthusiasm. You should understand design and be able to give specific examples of the work of designers you are inspired by and whom you admire. Your illustration skills should be polished and you should have a good understanding of videography.
We are paying a competitive salary which is negotiable depending upon your qualifications and experience.
Essential to the role are the following competencies:
- Experience in outstanding web designs
- Flash advanced level
- Photoshop advanced level
- Illustrator intermediate level
- Free hand illustration skills
- An understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (you will receive extensive training to an advanced level in this as part of your role)
- Drawing skills
- A Qualified designer
- Digital photography production and manipulation skills
- Video editing and 3D design skills
- A very high level of industry knowledge
