Job Description
Due to recent expansion, we now require a creative Online Copywriter with a good imagination and dazzling writing skills to become a part of our effervescent and highly successful team.
You will be sourcing and writing website copy for a variety of different audiences, using your fantastic creative abilities to produce fresh and compelling work.
An ability to turn out high volumes of copy on a daily basis is vital, as is the talent to write in various styles and tones.
We’re looking for someone who can think ‘outside the box’, who can grasp a concept quickly and who has the confidence and initiative to speak up with their own ideas.
Qualifications
It would assist your application if you have a good degree in English and/or creative writing or a degree in journalism.
Skills Range
Excellent English and spotless grammar are a must and some previous writing experience, preferably of the online variety, is desirable.
An understanding of the internet and a proficiency with computers is essential, while a knowledge of SEO techniques would be a distinct advantage although initial induction training and regular ongoing workshops will ensure that you quickly adapt to writing great Search Engine friendly copy.
A high level of attention to detail must be maintained at all times and proofing skills would be enormously useful.
An ability to stick to a brief is required, along with the initiative and enterprise to contribute ideas and develop current projects.
Being able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team is vital for anyone joining Fuse, but we’re also looking for someone who can organise themselves and work under their own initiative without requiring constant supervision.
